Connally is "almost" walking!

Connally is now 10.5 months, and she thinks she's just as big as Lucy. I've said many times that I'm so scared, as all my guards are down: Lucy never stuck her hands in outlets, climbed, ate anything she wasn't supposed to. Well, Connally is 100% a different chic! She is a mover-and-a-shaker. When she walks, she's going to run (I guess to keep up with Lucy.) She's now taking about 6-10 steps at a time; walking from one "post" to another (and smiling the whole time.) She is a climber, though. I walked out to the garage for two seconds, came back in and she was standing on top of our coffee table (and yes, still smiling like "look what I can do!)

And, boy can she eat. She cut her first tooth on Lucy's birthday (less than a week ago,) but that hasn't stopped her eating habits. She crams more stuff in her mouth and still wants more. Her teacher told me to never just give her half portions in her lunch. She said that as soon as Connally finished it, she was screaming for more!

She loves to dance. We bought Lucy a disco ball for her birthday, so we have "dance-off's" nightly. Connally just wiggles and giggles... too cute! (And Lucy dancing is a sight-to-be-seen!) Her daddy taught her the "robot" and how to "break-dance."

Lucy turns 4!

On June 1, 2007, Lucy ran into the room screaming "Mommy, Daddy.... I saw a June Bug....My birthday's coming!"

Lucy has been a great big sister, so we wanted to make sure that she had a great birthday party. On her actual birthday, we had MeeMaw and DadDad over for a "spaghetti bar' with all the fixings: marinara sauce, alfredo sauce, garlic bread, ceasar salad (had to have croutons,) and grilled chicken. All of Lucy's favorites.

Lucy recieved her very first bicycle (a Princess bike, no less!) She also got more princess dress up, make up, a bulletin board for all her artwork, and her very own "breakfast in bed" tray.

Since her "Dave'O" was in the hospital with an infection and blood clots, she visited him on Thursday night- in full drag, of course. Complete with the ball gown, pink kitty umbrella and her new "toe-less" sandals.

To end the big-deal birthday, she had her friends over to Cypress Academy of Gynastics for a fun-filled, upside-down, sideways, throw-em-the-pit party. What a hoot.

(Update on Connally next, but Connally was no fun at the gynastics event- came down with Thrush- yuck!)
