Easter 2009 was a hit!
The Easter bunny stayed up late and filled baskets and candy, as well as sampled all the chocolate, peeps, bubble gum, whoppers, etc. He left a trail of bunny cookies outside the girls door, leading to the table with all goodies for them to find in the morning.

In attendance was Lucy, Connally, MeeMaw, DadDad, Dave'o, Ta/Claudia, Gink/Bernice, Uncle Jim, Garrick and Courtney.

For lunch we had the typical honey baked ham, hashbrown casserole, cucumber/tomato salad, aspragus, and blueberry muffins. The adults had mimosas and the little kids had lemonade. For dessert we had cherry cheesecake pie and chocolate pecan pie (oh and lots of candy.)
(Connally helping me cook, as usual.)It was raining, and the girls mentioned that they were a little scared of the Easter Bunny, so that good ole bunny called to let us know that he was coming. The girls hid upstairs, and in he came to hide the eggs in our house. That little rascal hid them all over the dining room, hallway, kitchen and family room! The bet is still out on who got the most eggs.

Other games that were played was a sack race and an egg/spoon confetti egg race. All were in participation.

Wow, I love that Easter Bunny. He sure did make a couple of little girls sooooo happy. No silly rain could ever spoil such a wonderful happy family get together. I am so proud to be a part of Your Family, Garrick & Courtney. It's so much fun watching the girls grow up and be part of the festivities!!!
HAPPY EASTER,
Claudia/Ta
